Requirements
- Legit Arma 3 copy
- Swifty
- Teamspeak 3
Instructions
We assume here you already have Steam and Arma 3 installed.
Step 1: Installing
Teamspeak 3
Install Teamspeak 3
Once it is installed, connect to our server: 1tac.tk
Step 2: Installing Swifty
Install Swifty
Make sure you download the Setup.exe version
Run the Setup.exe and install Swifty.
Step 3: Installing the modpack using Swifty
Start Swifty using the provided shortcut
Configure the main Swifty settings by using the cogwheel in the top right:
Setup your Arma 3 path
This needs to point to your Arma 3 installation directory. The best way to find the path is going to
steam and right-clicking on Arma 3 in the games list and select manage -> browse local
files.
Then you can copy the path from the explorer window and paste that into the Arma III directory
field.
Setup your temporary
directory
The temporary directory is recommended to be on the same drive as your mods for optimal
performance.
Parallel Downloads
If you have a high-quality internet connection it might be worth tweaking the parallel downloads up to
10. This makes downloading or updating the mods much faster.
Adding the Team One Tactical mod repository
Click on “Add Repository” in the left top of Swifty
The URL to our repository is https://1tac.tk/swifty. Put this link in the URL bar. Then click
“Add”
Once you click add, the screen like in the picture below should appear. The final important thing here
is to add the download path for the mods you are about to install. It is recommended that you create a
new folder on a hard drive where you have roughly ~60GB of space available.
Note: The download folder path cannot be the same location as the Arma3 installation path.
Once you have designated a download path you can click on the X button to return to the main screen in
Swifty. We are now going to let Swifty download the modpack for us. Click on the circular arrow with the
Team One Tactical repository selected.
Swifty is now checking which mods have been downloaded in your selected folder path which should be
none if it is your first time downloading our repository. This checking process can
TAKE UP TO A FEW MINUTES
so don't worry if it seems like its stuck. Once it has finished checking a download button will appear.
Click this button.
Click download at the bottom right of the screen again, and the mods will begin to download.
The downloading may take some time depending on your internet speed and the number of parallel
downloads you have selected. After downloading all the mods there is a patching stage where Swifty will
install the mods and patch any previous files that have been updated.
Once the mods have finished downloading and patching you will be returned to the main screen. Click on
the main server and then on join to join our server on which we play our Arma3 sessions.
Those are all the steps you need to follow to join our sessions. In Swifty you may have noticed that we
skipped over a lot of the other buttons that are seen, don't worry about those, they are not necessary
to play. Only change these settings if you know what you are doing.

Do I need to be/become a member to join?
Membership is not required to take part in most events at Team One Tactical. You are encouraged not to
apply before playing a few sessions with us.
Do you have predefined roles?
No, the host will open roles during the slotting phase.
"I only want to fly/tank/zeus" or "Me and my buddy want to be a sniper team
together"
Not gonna happen. We do pride ourselves on ensuring that everyone can get a chance to do everything,
it's a key part of this community. However, it is expected that you get a feel for the community first
by playing as a standard rifleman the first few times. Feel free to take the asset roles once you
understand our playstyle.

An Arma 3 mod downloading tool used by our community. In essence, it is similar to other tools like
Arma3Sync or the Steam Workshop, but it is much simpler to use and allows us to be more customizable
with our mods.
Do I need to download my mods with Swifty to play?
